HR Generalist for Labor Relations / Timekeeping / Training

Job Description
  • Performs job functions consistent with the Hospital’s mission and vision statements and witnesses the BHSMC core values in the discharge of his functions.
  • Assists in communication between employees and supervisors, correction action and planning, disciplinary actions, explanation and clarification and maintains spreadsheets.
  • Compiling employee records specially on Notice to Explain and Notice of Disciplinary Actions (hard and soft copies), creates and maintains spreadsheets.
  • Support in receiving and effectively handling employee or legal action when necessary, including counselling services to employees.
  • Issuance of Notice to Explain and Notice of Disciplinary Actions to be received by immediate superior.
  • Ensures that all documents such as previous memos and logbooks are complete and accordingly filed.
  • Attend hearings regarding on the employment termination and provide notes to be reviewed by HR Officer.
  • Prepares the Minutes of the Meeting (MOM) and secure the signature of the concerned employee.
  • Providing assistance in initial investigation of the incident.
  • Prepares/drafts letters to DOLE for certification.
  • Advises employees regarding their employment rights.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Process DOLE certificate of no pending case for PESO requirements.
  • Maintains confidentiality on employee’s case status.
  • Distribute copies and explain Code of Conduct to all employees especially to newly-hired employees.
  • Responsible for compiling and validating employee timekeeping data.
  • Review timesheets, verify attendance or hours worked of employees.
  • Provides introductions and orientations to newly hired employees.
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary.
  • Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane, or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of degree course, preferably majoring in Psychology or any other related social science
  • At least one year experience in any related work
